Today, the Educazoo Québec team has more than 200 animals and close to twenty animators who travel around Quebec City to share their knowledge and passion for animals.
It is through activities of all kinds and the discovery of our wonderful companions that they demystify the myths of the animal world while reconnecting people with the nature that surrounds us. In addition to passion, it is without a doubt the respect for animals and their well-being that motivates each member of our beautiful team !

After an absence of Éducazoo in Quebec City for several years, it was in April 2007 that Jean-François Martel passionately started this ultimate adventure! Already experience with exotic birds, he realized his wish to work with animals, while introducing young and old to the unsuspected world of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and others!
In 1997, Jean-François begin in animation by co-founding a company of educational presentations of parrots called the Ara-Zone. It's located on the farmland he acquired at the age of 23 years old and his parrot farm grows little by little, while he simultaneously manages a raspberry bush during the hot months of the year.
In 2006, while he is playing Santa Claus in a private event, he met for the first time a member of the Educazoo Inc. team. Over time, he realized that people often acquire animals without intending to keep them for their entire lives. This part of the Educazoo's mission make sense to him and he started to want to contribute to educate people about the importance of adoption. One thing led to another, he took the reins of the EducazooQc franchise.
