Yes, of course, both the animator and the participants can interact during the animation.
→ In institutions (schools, daycare centres, festivals, etc.) we arrive 20 minutes before the activity starts.
→ For home parties, we arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the activity starts.
For an enjoyable activity for all, we recommend 8 to 10 guests. The more guests, the longer it takes before you get the animals in your hands.
During a regular presentation, we present a nice mix of species, both reptiles and mammals. Generally, under the theme Introduction to the animal world, we bring two lizards, one snake, two mammals, the ferret as well as another species (mollusk, arthropod, amphibian, bird, etc.).
In a virtual presentation, the animals are specially selected so that you can see them well on the screen. Also, these are animals that are less often seen on the road, which gives the opportunity to discover them as well.
We entertain indoors for the safety of the animals!
We work with several exotic species which unfortunately cannot regulate their temperature. Know that we only need a small space inside, we take a break from the sun during this time hehe but above all we can handle the animals more inside than outside :)
Our naturalist animators will make sure that your child will be the star of the day by offering him/her privileges: assistant to the animator, taking the animals first, passing them to his/her friends, taking the animals twice, etc.

Since we are a sanctuary for exotic domestic animals, we mainly have “NAC” or new pets. There are no cats or dogs at Educazoo.
It is a service that is really different. We dance, we imitate animals and above all we laugh a lot!
We are well prepared and accommodating for any eventuality. However, since we are an on-the-road animation service, it is possible that something unexpected may happen. Please know that we will still respect the scheduled animation time.
Absolutely. We start at the exact time of the activity in order to respect our end time.
For parties, payment is made by Interac e-transfer a few days before the date of your activity.
Our animals are considered non-allergenic, which means that at low exposure, the risks of being allergic are very limited. Therefore, your child can touch the animals without any problem. However, we will make sure that your child washes his hands between each species to limit the risks.
For institutions (schools, daycares, daycare services, festivals, etc.), it is important to provide easy access for the facilitator. That said, it is a winning formula to have all the participants seated in a circle at their desks or in rows far apart from each other.
For parties, no special arrangements are required. Generally, a room such as a living room is sufficient. The only requirement is that everyone be able to sit down, preferably in a circle so that the animator can move around with the animals.
It is indeed possible to have the Feathers and Fur theme, which includes only mammals and birds. However, the time slots are more limited for this package. For weekend activities, the animation must take place before noon or after 5 p.m. and is currently not available on the South Shore of Montreal.
For institutions (schools, daycares, daycare services, festivals, etc.), it is possible to pay by direct deposit or by check.
For home parties, we arrive 5 to 10 minutes before the activity starts.
All our animals are comfortable working on the road. They are also safe to handle. Thus, they will not tend to bite without reason. Our naturalist animator are there to assure the security of the activity.
The tip is at your discretion and will be given to your animator directly.
We have several parrots. They can speak, but you should know that it is rare that they speak in animation because you cannot make them repeat everything you want, contrary to what you might think. It is therefore possible that the parrot that visits you will not say anything.
Our animations are focused on the handling of animals for all participants. However, some species are more fragile than others and this leads to limited manipulation. However, we make sure to present the species in a privileged way (ex: tree frogs will be presented on a transparent plate that everyone can share in order to see the species up close).
All our animals are comfortable working on the road. They are also safe to handle. Thus, there is no danger of holding the snake on our neck during the presentation.
Having access to a parking lot is a great favour to us as we have many transport bins and temperature sensitive animals. If it is possible for you to free up or reserve a parking space (e.g., with your car or a guest’s car), this will help us greatly. In the case of paid parking, you will be responsible for payment.
It is possible to make special requests for certain species when booking an activity. However, it is important to keep in mind that we may not be able to meet all requests 100%, as the selection of animals is always made according to the needs of each individual animal and their life rhythm.
It is not possible to select all the animals that will be present during the activity since we follow the rhythm and needs of each individual animal. However, you can make special requests and we will try our best to respect them.
It is possible not to see the snake in your selection of animals. You just have to mention it when you make your reservation.
